Friday Jambalaya: Snow Art, Game Expansions, New Trailers and Peeno Noir!

We want snow art of Tituss Burgess singing Peeno Noir, please and thank you!

It’s Friday! It’s been a long week of show-binging, book-gushing and all around nerding so we, the Moose, are ready to rest and relax. So here are some links to see you through the weekend:

  1. Two Moose board game favorites, Mysterium and Imperial Assault, are getting expansions!
  2. Love science fiction but tired of multi-book series? Here’s a great list of standalone options.
  3. Tituss Burgess is getting his own brand of Pinot Noir (if you don’t know why this is amusing, go watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt NOW). There is little to no information on what kind of wine it is though…which has the Moose a bit nervous.
  4. If you’re a fan of science fiction (or fantasy) this article is hugely important to the history of your favorite genre(s).
  5. The Killer Moose are not the biggest Game of Thrones fans but fan art in the snow is a level of artistry and nerdery that we can only love and respect.
  6. Speaking of Game of Thrones, the season six trailer dropped this week. And so did the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War!
  7. J.K. Rowling released “History of Magic in North America” in instalments this week, but not without criticism.
  8. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has started rehearsals! There is photographic evidence!
  9. An interesting article on why certain people love super challenging games.
  10. And, last but not least, yet another reason why we need more female heroes in fiction.
