Friday Jambalaya: Scarecrows, Reylo, Happy Raptors & Crystal Gems

Wait...It's April 1st. We should have done an April Fools, right? Right?

Once more, it’s Friday and that means links!

  1. Let’s start it off with something funny shall we? A new trailer for The Lego Batman Movie dropped this week!
  2. And because we obviously can’t go a week without something Star Wars related in the links here’s a teaser of some behind-the-scenes footage of The Force Awakens.
  3. Oh…and here’s an article from the Atlantic all about the Rey/Kylo ship. Because…well because why the hell not?!
  4. In potentially exciting casting news Gugu Mbatha-Raw and David Oyelowo are in talks to star in the sci-fi thriller God Particle, directed by Julius Onah and produced by J.J. Abrams.
  5. Alex Garland’s second round in the director’s chair is the adaptation of Jeff VanderMeer’s Annihilation, starring Natalie Portman and the recently announced Oscar Isaac!
  6. For your weekly dose of random, have pictures of scarecrows from all across Britain.
  7. Following the success of Deadpool, a New Mutants film might be in the works?!
  8. Speaking of superheroes…Suicide Squad is apparently trying to be funnier.
  9. Someone has edited clips from the Jurassic Park films together into a trailer for a cheerful nature documentary.
  10. And last, but CERTAINLY not least, the Moose are all celebrating because Steven Universe got renewed for not one, but TWO seasons! Check out the image for this post. That is, quite literally, our current and collective expression.
